A few seasons ago, trainer Caspar Fownes was known as The King Of The Valley for his success rate at the Happy Valley track despite his equally successful strike rate at Shatin.
This season, trainer Tony Cruz is the new King Of The Valley with a strong strike rate at the course including helping the connections of Cape Canaveral win the CSL Million Challenge.

On whether, Cruz Control takes off again when he has Circuit Star going around and attempting to win three races on the trot over course and distance.
He has also entered Lucky Omens and Luffy, both having their first starts at Happy Valley.
Lucky Omens is a consistent enough galloper though Luffy is, to put it politely, enigmatic.
After winning at huge odds in Shatin when ridden by Umberto Rispoli, Luffy has been a real duffer by doing nothing at all in subsequent runs.
It’s obvious that Cruz is wondering if the horse might just take to Happy Valley and that the win in Shatin was no fluke.
